Shop for the Birds! opened in 2015 when BirdLife South Africa moved to Isdell House in Johannesburg

Visitors to our head office have enabled us to connect with passionate birders looking for great bird-related gifts, items for their collections, and/or to chat about birds over coffee.

Following the move away from Level 1, our physical shop is now open and is run alongside our online store.

Please note that our shop hours are 9:00 am – 15:00, Monday – Friday.

However, for various reasons, we may need to close the shop for an hour or so and suggest you give us a call before coming through, to make sure we are open. We can be contacted on 011 789 1122. If for any reason the closing hours are longer a message will be posted on this page.

Our members, our friendships and our connections are incredibly important to us and we look forward to seeing you once more.
